Our 2023 Walk in Their Shoes is a Wrap!

What are the odds? Last Sunday, Walk in Their Shoes participants in three different locations – Carlisle, MA, Canyon, MN, and Aberdeen, Scotland – all faced a cold drizzle, occasionally steady but mostly mercifully light as they walked to support the ongoing work of Axium Education. But the rain didn’t dampen anyone’s enthusiasm. The largest group, nearly 45 people along with several canine companions, trekked a 3.42 mile circuit through meadow and forest on the trails at Carlisle’s Great Brook Farm.

Thanks to these walkers and more than 100 donors, we raised nearly $15,000 to date, and are sending a powerful message to Axium’s young learners – that we believe in them, and that a better future is a goal within reach.
