Join us for a Walk in Their Shoes 5K

Saturday, May 4 at 10am

Join us on Saturday, May 4 for our fourth fundraising 5K walk to benefit Axium Education, an educational non-profit that is raising student achievement in disadvantaged rural communities in South Africa. The Axium team works with school children who face numerous challenges, including many who walk 10K (6.2 miles!) to school and back each day.

Walk in Their Shoes will support these children’s drive to learn, achieve, and create opportunities for themselves and their communities.

THERE ARE 3 WAYS TO TAKE PART IN THE WALK:

PARTICIPATE in the Walk in-person or virtually

    • If you’re local (Concord/Carlisle MA area), join us in person on Saturday, May 4 at 10am at Great Brook Farm in Carlisle, MA where we’ve mapped out a beautiful 5K route to walk together.
    • If you’re elsewhere in the world (anywhere works!), gather some friends and map out a route wherever you are. This “virtual” walk can take place between April 27 and May 4, whenever convenient for you. We will be sending you a fun “podcast” with music and stories to accompany your walk.
