Axium Education – Visit to the US

Craig Paxton and Mike Gathercole of Axium Education completed a whirlwind US fundraising tour of three cities in November.

Through three events in Boston area, over 50 donors gave just under $10,0000 for Axium Education. Events included a paddle tennis round robin, an outdoor backyard concert, and a dinner party.  The paddle tennis round robin was scheduled for October 30th.  Forty people were signed up to play paddle and learn about Axium.  Unfortunately, it poured rain that night and the paddle tennis had to be canceled.

On November 13th, we hosted the backyard outdoor concert with Sawyer Lawson. In addition to some great music, Craig and Mike spoke a bit about Axium’s work, and lots of treats were enjoyed by all in attendance!

That evening, there was a dinner party that gave Mike and Craig another opportunity to share stories about Axium and their own journeys over the past 10 years.
